In this presentation, Brian will be provide his perspective on the important of Analytics to retailers.

 

He will show how Analytics is more than software and databases, and a sample platform architecture overview. 

 

He'll close by discussing sample retail use cases for analytics.

Brian McCaffrey
Information Technology Professional
 

​​Brian McCaffrey is an Information Technology (IT) professional with more than 25 years experience.  He started his career with Accenture as a systems integration and IT consultant concentrating in the Retail sector with a specialty in Supply Chain/ Logistics processes and systems.  

 

He worked for many years at Wawa, Inc in several different IT leadership roles.   In Data Analytics, Brian partnered with Wawa’s Finance Department to lead and drive Wawa’s Data Analytics strategy including Enterprise Information Management (EIM).  His Data Analytics work included a MicroStrategy implementation and an SAP BW platform migration to SAP HANA.  

 

Brian is a Certified Business Process Professional (CBPP) by The Association of Business Process Management Professionals (ABPMP) as well as a certified Process Master by Hammer & Company. He received his Bachelors of Science Business Administration degree from Villanova University and his Masters of Business Administration from The Kenan-Flagler Business School at The University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill.
