The Internet of Things:  What is it and how will it impact BPM?

Bob has over 25 years of experience with technology solutions of which the past 10 years have focused in the area of BPM.  He has been the Northeast Regional Manager for Software AG USA since 2006 and partners with some of Software AG’s largest global customers such as General Electric, Bristol-Myers Squibb and KPMG.  He is passionate about BPM and takes great pride in supporting the BPM journeys with many other companies such as Pfizer, Alexion Pharmaceuticals, Kraft, Johnson and Johnson, PepsiCo and many more.  

 

Bob came to Software AG through its acquisition of IDS Scheer in 2009.  IDS Scheer, under the guidance of its founder Dr. August-Wilhelm Scheer, created the first enterprise process modelling solution: ARIS (Architecture for Integrated Information Systems).  ARIS remains to be the #1 BPA solution globally.

 

Prior to Software AG, Bob served on the Board of UK Based YuDo Global and was Director of Sales for Wisdom Technology.  With the proliferation of cloud solutions available in 2015 his first supported a SaaS solution was back in 1996 (RIA Group’s Checkpoint Tax Resource). 

 

Bob holds a BS degree in Business from the Rochester Institute of Technology.

Mark Beliveau joined Software AG in July 2013 as part of the acquisition of Apama – the leading provider of operational intelligence, real-time analytics and complex event processing. With over 20 years of experience in managing customer relationships for both national and global enterprise accounts, Mark possesses a deep understanding of business strategy and customer service.  He has the team building, consulting and leadership skills required for understanding and solving difficult business challenges.

 

Mark has an extensive background in Big Data and the Internet of Things and has held leadership positions at IBM, Sun Microsystems and Oracle.  An Arts & Cultural and Education enthusiast, Mark is an avid reader and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Software and Technical Relations from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. Mark, his wife and four children reside in Lakewood Ranch, Florida.
